Japanese painting was born after the Meiji era to distinguish it from oil paintings transmitted from the West, and is based on the painting style that has continued since a thousand and several hundred years. Generally, natural paints such as ink, mineral pigments, whitewash, and dyes are used on paper, silk, wood, plaster, etc., and glue is drawn as an adhesive. I was originally from ink painting, but at a turning point I wanted to incorporate colors, and I was fascinated by the depth, vividness, and brilliance of mineral pigments.
